To apply to become a stonemason and stone sculptor, the prerequisite is a secondary school diploma or secondary school leaving certificate. Of course, high school diplomas and technical college diplomas are also taken into account.
Training as a stonemason and stone sculptor
The training lasts 3 years and takes place on a dual basis, i.e. in parallel in the training company and the vocational school. In the third year of training, specialization takes place in one of the two disciplines.
